Why this blog exists

Why this blog exists

The First Step

I’ve been thinking for a while about whether I wanted to start a blog. I thought: “I don’t even know anything that I could explain to others.” But then I learned that a blog for programer’s doesn’t mean i have to be a professor. It’s about documenting my own progress and projects. Primarily for myself, secondarily for the rest of the world!

Additionally, yesterday on April 22, 2026, Felix Klinge visited my campus at SAE Institute Cologne. He inspired me to finally make this decision!

I also initially oriented the theme of this blog towards his, though I’m not sure if it will stay that way. Actually, I’d love to build a site for this myself at some point, maybe even away from GitHub (Fuck Microslop) :D

What you will find here

In the future, I will record things here that occupy me during my studies or while programming:

  • Fixed bugs
  • Documentation for projects (both within the scope of my Game Programming studies and personal projects)
  • Small tutorials for my future self & you

The Setup

This blog runs on the Chirpy Jekyll Theme on GitHub Pages. Why? Because it looks damn good and because Felix Klinge uses it too.

That’s it for the beginning. The foundation has been laid!
